Go Bag

Everyone should have a "Go Bag" - even non-CERT members. This can be quickly grabbed in case of immediate evacuation or activation of a CERT member. It contains clothing and personal items needed for life away from home. A family's go bag should address the needs of adults, kids, and pets. The contents of a go bag could also be used when sheltering in place.

CERT Backpack

The CERT backpack is what you will have with you while actively carrying out CERT duties. It has the PPE, tools, and supplies needed for those duties. Many of these are supplied by EC CERT while some items are provided by the member.
